CWU Bands host The United States Coast Guard Band under the direction of Captain Adam Williamson on their national tour in Ellensburg, Washington.

Outstanding Tenured/Tenure-Track Faculty Teaching Award
Dr. T. André Feagin is the 2024 recipient of the Outstanding Tenured/Tenure-Track Faculty Teaching Award in the College of Arts and Humanities. This award is given annually to a tenured or tenure-track CAH faculty member to recognize significant achievement at CWU in innovative teaching strategies, curriculum and/or program development, and positive impact on student learning.

Orquestra de Sopros de Ourém (Ourém, Portugal)
Dr. T. André Feagin invited to serve as conductor and featured clinician with the Orquestra de Sopros de Ourém. While in residence, he will lead amateur and professional wind band conductors on technique, score study, and repertoire. The residency will culminate with a performance of Black American and Portuguese composers with the wind orchestra conducted by Dr. Feagin.
